Raw Materials

Being a part of paint manufacturing industry, our main input raw materials comprise pigments, binders, additives and solvents. We use these materials consciously, emphasising resource efficiency. Our continuous efforts focus on minimising material losses and maximising the conversion of raw materials into finished goods. We have a supply base of over 500 raw material suppliers.

Sustainable Packaging

Sustainable packaging remains one of our top priorities, even from a regulatory perspective. During FY 2025-26, we undertook a structured review of our packaging portfolio, comprising metal tins, drums, plastic barrels, containers and plastic bags, with the objective of reducing environmental impact while preserving the functional requirements of each format.

The most significant development during the year was the incorporation of recycled plastic into our packaging. This has reduced the use of virgin plastic materials without compromising structural integrity or protective performance. We extended this initiative across additional product lines during the year and will continue to increase the proportion of recycled content across our packaging portfolio in the years ahead, reinforcing our commitment to responsible material use and circular economy principles.

Reducing Material Wastage

1. Sustainable Sourcing

• Minimising environmental impact and promoting social responsibility

• Collaborating with industry partners to drive innovation and develop sustainable sourcing practices that align with our goals and industry best practices

• Over 65% of our materials are sourced from suppliers who have a formal sustainability program in place.

2.Resource Efficiency

• Facilitating process automation for improved accuracy and reduced material loss

• Ensuring a closed-loop manufacturing process

• Implementing robust controls on material additions

• Adopting various reuse and recovery initiatives
